There are two things my closest friends know about me, and lucky you, I’m willing to share them now. The first is that I hate  with an undying passion  Jimmy Buffett.

His music is what I imagine plays somewhere in the sixth or seventh layer of hell and as a born Floridian, it’s insulting that he’s an icon for an already unjustly tarnished state.

The second thing, however, is that I’m head over Chucks for Kirsten Dunst. So, you could imagine.

My minor cardiac arrest when I stumbled upon her new trendy-as-fuck music video, where she covers.

The Vapors’ 1980 hit “Turning Japanese” and frolics around in a poofy dress and a blue wig. Yes, this is an actual video. Why did she do this? No idea, but this writer’s not complaining. Not. One. Bit.

Directed by McG and Takashi Murakami, the video follows Dunst around Akihabara, as she lip syncs to girl band Akihabara Majokko Princess and sprays people with her magical wand. It sounds absolutely ridiculous and that’s exactly what it is.

But it’s shiny and over-the-top and everything we expect from anything that has to do with McG. And adoration aside, Dunst looks great and appears like she’s having a lot fun. In fact, when she counts down at the bridge (“No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women…”) and stares right at the camera, most of you will agree she hasn’t lost her charm. It’s just a shame she won’t be swinging around with ol’ Spidey anymore.
