An insider has revealed that Cirque Lodge doesn’t treat patients suffering from depression alone, casting doubts on actress Kirsten Dunst having claimed she went there to seek treatment for the condition, starmagazine.com reports.

Dunst had also denied she was being treated for a drug or alcohol problem.

“I went there for depression ... I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself,” Dunst said.

According to the insider, however, patients at the Sundance, Utah, facility, must have some kind of chemical dependency.

“They would refer you somewhere else if it’s just depression,” the insider explained.
