Actress Kirsten Dunst is in North Dakota this week to help make a documentary about voting in the United States. Dunst and filmmaker Jacob Soboroff interviewed Secretary of State Al Jaeger. They`re also planning to visit farms in the Bismarck area.
Dunst starred in three "Spider-Man" movies. She says she`ll be narrating the documentary, and she and Soboroff are producing and directing it. Soboroff says the crew came to North Dakota because it`s the only state without voter registration.
He is the director of a separate organization called "Why Tuesday," which questions why American elections are held on Tuesday. He says voter turnout may be greater if elections are held on the weekend.
