New Yorkers and Californians pride themselves on their distinct styles. And with her cross-country lifestyle it seems Kirsten Dunst has developed the knack of fitting into both cities. As the actress strolled around New York on Saturday she looked as if she'd walked right off the set of Sex And The City in her Miu Miu dress.

At first glance ladylike, at closer inspection the frock sported a cheeky design of naked pin-ups Teamed with a fashionable pair of slingback wedges, the look was pure New York. Kirsten, 28, had been in the city with her boyfriend Ason Boesel, the drummer for indie-band Rilo Kiley.
Hours later she was in Toluca Lake, where her outfit was the personification of laid-back beach lover. While she kept the trendy designer sunglasses, Kirsten teamed them with a scruffy casual T-shirt dress in a soft grey jersey fabric.
With a long black cardigan thrown over the top, and a suede pair of boots, Kirsten was unmistakeably a Californian girl. This summer Spiderman actress Kirsten is working on Lars von Trier's film Melancholia. She replaced Penelope Cruz in the lead role after Cruz left the film for a part in Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
